Hello to all 120,000+ of you!

Months after this petition was created, it's still gaining momentum as censorship of bodies and sexuality on Instagram (and all over the Internet) continues to worsen.

Just this week, high-profile tattoo profiles on Instagram joined in to protest against the platform's censorship of nudity and sexuality, a censorship that is trickling down to their accounts after affecting sex workers, pole dancers, sex educators, erotic artists, athletes and so on.

This is on the same week as the Wall Street Journal investigation revealing how Facebook/Instagram have created an "elite" of whitelisted users, who don't experience their moderation as harshly as others - something sex workers in particular have been raising awareness of for years.

Since I last published an update, my own profile was deleted for 24 hours - I only got it back by frantically emailing all my contacts within the platform and after media articles about my experience. The accounts of a variety of sex workers and education accounts keep being deleted, as IG amps up its solicitation polices originating from the terms of use we're protesting against

Earlier this summer, Instagram even admitted it does shadowban users, and promised to further clarify how and when it does so. In short, nudity and sexuality continue to be a target on this platform and on the Internet in general, so signatures for this petition are needed more than ever.

We've reached and surpassed the 120,000 signatures milestone. If this petition gets to 150,000, it will be one of the most signed on change.org, sending an important message about how users feel about Instagram's censorship of nudity and sexuality. So please keep sharing and signing, and let's get to 150,000!

Thank you for all your support :)
