Instagram should ban photos of animal cruelty!

Earlier today, I was horrified when I stumbled across an account on Instagram which posted multiple images of beautiful animals which had been killed and posted online by the killers, only to brag about what they had done. An account called Freaknhunting liked one of my posts, which lead my to their profile. I was very offended so I commented on one of their posts asking them not to like any more of my photos because I certainly won't be liking any of theirs. Seconds later, my comment was deleted and I was blocked. They clearly get a lot of hate but they cover it up by deleting any negative feedback. (please everyone who agrees with me, go to their account and post an unhappy comment, thanks)

I decided to report the account for violence and harm, but I was disappointed and shocked when Instragram responded by informing me that the account does not violate their guidelines. If this isn't violence and harm then can somebody tell me what is!? I feel it is completely inconsiderate and DISGUSTING that anyone could show off about being a murderer, and Instagram needs to revise the guidelines if this is upsetting so many of their users.

Instagram's "short" description of their community guidelines writes "We want Instagram to continue to be an authentic and safe place for inspiration and expression. Help us foster this community. Post only your own photos and videos and always follow the law. Respect everyone on Instagram, don’t spam people or post nudity." Instagram asks everyone to be respectful and suggests that the only thing that is unacceptable is nudity... However, I think posting violent, bloody, death images is a much more disrespectful than nudity.

Anyone who agrees, PLEASE sign my petition so that Instagram realise how many people are affected by this! or send them an email at
