Thank you everyone for your support. It has been great to see so many people adding their names to and sharing this petition, as well as using various social media posts, presences, blogs and vlogs to get the word out. Unfortunately, we have been made aware that even more related hashtags have been blocked by Instagram, including #pustularpsoriasis #psoriasissupport #psoriasisassociation and, perhaps most worryingly #skincondition. We still haven't heard from Instagram either publicly or privately to explain the situation, despite this petition, the social media campaign, and our efforts to report 'Something Isn't Working'/ 'General Feedback' through the Instagram app. It is understandable that social media platforms need to be moderated, particularly if users have reported inappropriate content. However, as Instagram is remaining silent on this issue, it is difficult to establish whether the community is being moderated or censored. We continue to call on Instagram to throw some light on this situation, and restore our supportive community to what it was. If you can spread the message and share this petition, please do.
