Promote IV Testing Instead of Harmful Animal Experimentation
The Issue
Animal Testing is unethical, inaccurate, and harmful. Each year, 115,241,495 animals are tested on globally. 95% of drugs proven safe on animals have no effect or an adverse effect on humans. $16,000,000,000 of taxpayer's money is used to fund animal testing annually.
This problem is toxic and must be stopped.
In Vitro (IV) Testing is an effective alternative. Using an EpiDerm, a 3D model that mimics human tissue, In Vitro takes animal experimentation out of the equation. In addition, IV Testing, compared to animal testing, is 97% cheaper.
As philosopher Jeremy Bentham once said, "The question is not, can they reason? Can they talk? But, can they suffer?"
