STRANGE TJCA BOARD DIDN’T WANT MR. MAIMONE BUT THE STATE SUPERINTENDENT SURE DID!

Now that Mr. Maimone has taken a job in Raleigh as Chief of Staff at the Department of Public Instruction, this is not the time to let up the fight against all of the wrongdoing this Board has done.

Come to the Board Meeting this Tuesday, Oct. 2nd at 5:45 in the Leitner HS Auditorium. You will hear of all the violations of Bylaws, Conduct, and Policies that are putting our Charter at risk! The Charter School legislation indicates that the Charter can be revoked if state and federal laws have been broken or if the Bylaws have been broken.

This Board needs to be held accountable!

The Board violates their very own Bylaws by motioning in Steve Herndon and Elizabeth Sabolovic with out proper protocol, allows and unanimously agrees Andy Francis can have his family win construction bids, and are the first board in 19 years that ran off the founder. They do not have the trust of the people or the donors with the 2020 Vision Project. Regardless if they believe they did or did not do something wrong, they do not inspire trust and faith in the TJ stakeholders. Because of this fundamental lack of trust, they should resign so TJ can move forward. The board must step aside for the sake of the students and TJ’s future.
