I have been very busy addressing the grievance and addressing the multiple violations of the public record laws at the local and state level, involving multiple agencies.
I will be publishing Mr. Maxwell’s comments and addressing the many “inconsistencies” in the near future. That will be posted here.
In the meantime, you should let the Board know that their vision for TJ (which Mr. Maxwell admitted for the first time was different from Mr. Maimone’s), is not what the families of TJ want. Their vision for TJ will not attract students nor keep the students at this school. They need to know that.
In my own email, I stated that they should all resign after reinstating Mr. Maimone. Feel free to do the same. Our school should have Bylaws that represent the stakeholders. The #3 School in NC (Woods Charter School) has a Board with 2 teacher reps (voted on by the teachers), 1 student rep that is from the student council, and the remainder are voted on by the parents and guardians! This should be our model.
