WE DEMAND JUSTICE!

Heinous crimes need punishment, no compensation, no compromise, no words of condemnation or delaying tactics such as 'judicial commissions'

August 2015's gift to the nation this year is the child sex abuse scandal - there is a large and a well connected pedophile gang which has been involved in the abuse of over 280 children in the village Ganda Singh, district Kasur (Punjab) with links to criminals/pedophiles overseas. The pedophile gang not only brutalized minors, it also produced and sold videos of the child sexual abuse locally and abroad, and blackmailed and extorted money from the families of the abused minors with this material. According to reports, 25 people are involved but only 7 gang members have been apprehended, many of whom have admitted to aiding  the crimes and  who are  also being released on bail.

The PML- N has been in power in Punjab. They are responsible and must answer for this. But it has also been reported in the media that earlier a PML-N MNA from Punjab attacked the police station, beat the SHO to quash filing of an FIR and have gang rapists of a 21 year old woman released in 2014 in the same village, Ganda Singh (Kasur).

We don't need more words- a condemnation of the heinous, well planned and appalling crimes of the pedophilia and sex abuse gang will not do. We need action and punishment on this matter. 

If you care for the children, then Mr Prime Minister, please call up your brother, Chief Minister. Go meet the children and their parents even for a token photo -op at least!

We demand:

• an investigation into police negligence, inaction and collusion of the PMLN  MPA  Malik Ahmed Saeed. Only a thorough investigation will establish the scale of the crime that has caused suffering, stretching, according to news-reports as far back as 8-10 years. 
• exemplary action taken against the 25 culprits and criminals   and the  PML_N MPA in order to send a strong message to deter such crime in the future.
•  that the criminals be booked under non-bailable offenses so that they are not able to return to the community to further harass,blackmail or to escape.
• respond to the psycho social needs of the victims of the sexual crimes are 

What is it going to be -mere words of condemnation or real action and punishment for the perpetrators? Show us you care.

P.S. 70% of the police is on VIP duty, send them back to work, clean up our streets and make our cities safe.
