Mission: Allegiant Preparatory Academy educates all students in grades K-8 with rigorous academics, character development, and a commitment to community necessary for college success and a life of positive action.

Indianapolis is a great city. As a native, I dreamed of the day when I would have the opportunity to return and give back.  While families have more educational options today, unfortunately,  there are far too many children that do not have access to a quality college preparatory education.  Through clarity of high expectations, rigorous classroom instruction, a focus on development as human beings, and joy, Allegiant Prep families will have confidence that their students have a tangible pathway to college.

Proposed Head of School and Founder, Rick Anderson, is a proud native of Indianapolis who brings his experience as a teacher and school leader to this work.  He is currently a fellow with the national non-profit organization, Building Excellent Schools.  This fellowship has allowed him to study and train in the highest-performing charter schools across the country.  Rick understands families want to ensure their children are safe and learning at school.  Allegiant Prep understands Indianapolis students will compete with students across the country for college entrance and securing employment post college graduation.  The education Allegiant Prep students receive will  ensure they are able to excel in college and in life.
