This petition calls for Indiana State University officials to offer Assistant Director Valerie Hart-Craig the position interim director of the Charles E. Brown African- American Cultural Center. Valerie Hart-Craig has been an employee of Indiana State University for 14 years. Ms. Craig has helped implement vital programs that have greatly influenced students. These programs include ISUcceed, Black Congratulatory, and the Academic Achievement award ceremony. Ms. Craig's role in building the image and family of the Charles E Brown African American Cultural Center along with her degree in student affairs makes her qualified to be the director.
