Her husband lies lifeless in a glass case outside his house. Her father landed in police custody after accomplishing his goal. But 20-year-old Amrutha Varshini is going through trauma that no girl deserves. Even 24 hours after the tragedy, she is trying to get back to normalcy at the hospital.

Amrutha’s husband, Perumalla Pranay (24), was brutally murdered by a professional killer, allegedly hired by her father T Maruthi Rao for Rs 10 lakh. He was hacked to death at the entrance of a private hospital when the couple was leaving after a regular pregnancy check-up on Friday (September 14) afternoon. Amrutha and her mother-in-law Premalatha ran inside the hospital begging for help. She fainted and is recovering at the same hospital.

Doctors permitted the family members to inform Amrutha about Pranay’s death only on Saturday morning. Ever since she came to know about Pranay’s death, she was inconsolable. Doctors promised to discharge her on Sunday to see Pranay. Pranay’s brother is expected to come from abroad on Sunday, when the last rites will be performed.
