In God's own country we want to walk free
The Issue
Is there any value for human life?? Reading the story of little Eileen losing her life just because she could not reach the hospital on time has left me in deep shock and pain. As a parent myself, I can feel the misery caused due to this unfortunate incident which could have been avoided.
Yes, processions and rallies for political issues are required but definitely not at the cost of human life!!
We all know the situation of roads in kerala and if these roads are also blocked to accommodate the unwanted needs of our great political leaders it will only lead to more similar situations.
It is my humble request to put a ban on such rallies and processions to be held in public places. NO ROADS should be blocked for this purpose.
Emergencies can occur anytime and anywhere and we cannot lose lives because of few inconsiderate people for whom their personal agendas are more valuable than human life.
These organisers should be charged with Section 304 A of the Indian penal code, to cause the death of baby Eileen, who could not reach the hospital on time due to their negligence.
