Since the days of 26/11 attack (And even much before in Kargil war) on Taj Restaurent when NDTV and a few other channels irresponsibly broadcast our Commando operations for the benefit of enemies. Irrespective of gentle warnings and reminders it continued till the recent detailed insight of sensitive areas of Pathankot for the entertainment of terrorist organizations and other enemies. These are few to mention but there are many instances like naming the Rape Victims, showing the gory incidents with severely injured bodies, showing the atrocities of women in the name of giving news are all continuing in the name of Freedom of Expression. It has to be stopped at one level and control is required on the way TV Channels are using the content for improving their TRP. On one side it is responsibility of citizens who should give a message by stopping watching such channels and clarifying that their TRP wont improve because of these activities. On the otherside the Govt has to act on these channels and remind them their responsibility. Prince Diana died and followed by that there are innumorous events happened as a result of this shameless focus on TRP. I request the govt to act.
