For a country that worships cows as Gods, and even slanders those who don't, we seem to have abandoned a lot of cows and dogs out on the streets. There are neither legal safeguards nor effective plans in place to help these animals.

These are the very animals that carry diseases and cause traffic-related accidents. 

I feel its time we step up efforts in how we manage these stray animals.
