Hello Supporters, (*** Please keep sharing the petition ***)

We have reached our first milestone of a 1000 petition signs. Thank you for your support for the petition increase GATE stipend to 25000.

 I had filed an RTI for information regarding what has AICTE done so far regarding the stipend, and various questions regarding the proposed  AICTE had given a very generic reply saying that it implements the stipend as per the directions of the Ministry of Education. I filed an appeal saying that the reply doesn't give the complete information, and currently waiting for the response.

I have also approached few GATE coaching institutes to support this movement, and waiting for their response too.

The movement is very much still active and I would personally request you to share this petition again with your friends and family and explain why this is important to support this. Change is something that takes time and repeated effort.
