The government established the Greyhound Transition Agency following the August 1st greyhound racing ban, which is an independent organisation to oversee the welfare and rehoming of retired racing greyhounds after the ban came into effect. 1400 greyhounds need to be rehomed, and the organisation does not have sufficient funding for this task. We have made this petition to demand more funding for greyhound rehoming from the government.
