Hello All,

I came to know from my colleagues in different universities that female teachers have to face problems even with Maternity Leave. While some universities are granting 180 days of Maternity leave, others are granting only 90 days of ML while some even deny it in totality.

Also, the provision of a Creche facility is granted by this revised act which is another crucial support Working mothers seek so that they can continue their jobs without undue stress. As such, I have added the request to incorporate the Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017 also in my petition.
