Currently the standing slow down move over law in New Mexico does not include protection for roadside emergency response vehicles such as tow trucks . With the high rate of injuries and fatalities that tow operators sustain while working on the side of New Mexico roadways it is imperative that our law is expanded to include such vehicles .
