I'm happy to reach 40/100 signatures in just 4 days. 

The Mixed community on Reddit has been a great support to me. I'm so thankful for strangers who I can identify with so closely. 

Yesterday, I received a small reply from the Department of Public Safety and they are forwarding it to the correct department.

Though nobody should have to ask permission for something like this, we know all too well that it's our reality. 

I need 60 more signatures to hit the 100 milestones mark!
