Dear Supporters of the Petition,

Thank you so much for signing the petition! It is critical that we gather 10,000 signatures to ensure that the Juneteenth and/or Black American Heritage flag is included in the next iOS and One UI updates. Please continue to spread the word and share this petition with your family, friends, and social media.

**Quick Update:** Last night, I found a way to contact the CEOs of Samsung and Apple. The photo uploaded is their response. Below is the email I sent to Samsung:

---

**Dear Samsung Team,**

“I hope this message finds you well. As a Black American, I carry the legacy of my ancestors, descendants of enslaved Africans in the United States. Our rich culture is an integral part of America’s history, characterized by resilience and profound contributions.

Currently, Samsung devices include a variety of flags representing national pride, yet significant symbols from the Black American community are absent. I urge you to consider adding the Juneteenth flag and the Black American Heritage flag in your next emoji update.

Juneteenth marks the emancipation of enslaved Black Americans, while the Black American Heritage flag signifies pride in our culture. Including these symbols would honor our history and inspire future generations, demonstrating Samsung's commitment to diversity and inclusion.

This change is technically feasible and would resonate with millions of users. Let’s bring awareness and representation to our digital communication landscape.

Thank you for your consideration”

If you're interested, please copy and paste the message below and send it to the Samsung CEO. We need to keep reminding them that this is what we, as Black Americans, want and need!
