Include Africa in the 2027 BTS world tour
Le problème

As devoted members of the ARMY community in Africa, we find ourselves repeatedly excluded from the joy of attending BTS world tours. This exclusion is not due to a lack of interest or enthusiasm, but due to a lack of opportunities, as Africa is consistently omitted from the itinerary of these global events. The BTS fanbase in Africa is burgeoning, full of life and diversity, with passionate fans who resonate deeply with the music and values of BTS.
Each time a "World Tour" is announced, we are filled with anticipation, only to have our hopes dashed upon realizing that Africa is not part of the equation. This reality means that millions of fans across our vast continent are unable to experience the sheer excitement and joy of a live BTS performance. For many of us, attending concerts abroad is simply unattainable, hindered by prohibitive travel expenses and complicated visa procedures.
Despite these barriers, our passion shines through. We engage online, purchase albums, stream music, and support BTS in every possible way. Our enthusiasm is palpable and our dream is simple: to witness the magic of BTS firsthand without the insurmountable challenges of international travel.
We respectfully urge HYBE and the BTS team to recognize the vast and vibrant fanbase in Africa. Including concert dates across key locations on the continent could open new doors and foster greater connection. Cities like Johannesburg, Lagos, Nairobi, and Cairo are central hubs teeming with fans who are eagerly waiting for the day they can see BTS live.
Including Africa in the 2027 BTS World Tour calendar would not only acknowledge the deep connection and support from African ARMYs, but also offer a life-changing experience for fans who have long supported from afar.
Please sign this petition to make our voices heard and help bring the 2027 BTS World Tour to Africa. Together, we can show HYBE the dedication and love that African ARMYs hold for BTS, and ensure our continent is finally represented on the world stage.
