on 5/6/2017, in Incline Village NV, a community bear called "Jasper" and her 3 cubs were walking through a neighborhood- minding their own business. A resident called the sheriffs department for a bear spotting.  The deputy that arrived shot his weapon at the bear hitting her in the shoulder and ultimately causing her death. This deputy claimed he did not know what type of bullets were in his gun!  He says he thought they were rubber.. This careless and unprofessional deputy took the life of an innocent bear who has lived in this community (peacefully) for 10 years, also making her 3 cubs motherless.  Please sign this petition to have this deputy removed form his position. We need to protect our wildlife and honor Jaspers untimley and tragic death..
