Hi all ~ I'm sure many of you were just as excited to see Trump's January 20 Executive Order, "Unleashing American Energy," which clearly states:

"It is the policy of the United States... to safeguard the American people’s freedom to choose from a variety of goods and appliances, including but not limited to lightbulbs..."

EdisonReport.com seems to be the first out of the gate to report that the signing of this Executive Order reverses the incandescent ban.  But .... being the skeptic I am ... I still questioned whether the Order itself was truly enough to consider the ban "reversed".  I called my Congressman's office to ask them about it, and was told that the ban has not been officially reversed yet.  Once it is, the Federal Register website (ruling on 45-lumens-per-watt or less) will be updated to reflect the change.

So while there is definitely good reason to be excited for what's to come, I'm keeping this petition active until the ban is officially reversed.  A heartfelt thank you to all for your efforts to spread the word thus far 😌
