Read this message we received to know how loving and kind your neighbors are (we are coming back to SLO next Sunday Nov 4th to shut this crossing down):
“Good evening Mr Grant. My name is Chad Robertson and I am the Paramedic who was with Jordan, in the middle of the freeway, during his final moments. I am a parent myself with my oldest child getting ready to head off to college next fall. I won’t pretend to know how difficult this situation is for you but please know that my heart goes out to you and your family. I have worked as a Paramedic in the area of your sons accident for over 12 years and during that time responded to countless serious accidents at that same intersection, some of which have been fatal. Why that intersection has not been shut down years ago is beyond me but enough is enough and my hope is that your efforts will be enough to raise awareness so that things will change. Future lives depend on it. I am so sorry that my efforts weren’t enough to save your son but your efforts could save others and if there is anything I can do to help with that - please don’t hesitate to ask. My deepest condolences - Chad
