In a country which was made in the name of Islam and where the majority of the citizen are Muslim, it is sad to see that condition of the animals in our country is extremely disastrous. There are little to no laws available for their protection and the ones which do exist are almost never implemented.

The Government itself does nothing to help the animals, as there are no shelters or safe havens available for them and the private organisations which do exist are given no support at all. Getting medical help for animals is extremely expensive which only ends up discouraging the people who do indeed want to help.

Helping these voiceless creatures is not at all a big deal for the Government a country, so today we the citizens of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, would like our new Government to help these animals by opening government funded shelters for animals, to help enforce animal cruelty laws in Pakistan, to launch a program which would help feed the local feral animals to make sure that they have food and water available for them on the sideways and to help with the medical needs of these feral animals, who go unnoticed with no one to help or care for them. It's the least we can do to help.
