🦜 Progress made and the Council's reponse

🌱 Here is an update on the progress made.

I sent a written proposal in February to Hackney Council Parks Department cc'ing the local Councillors and  the Clissold Park Users Group. You can read it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zs8G-9q4xIVxObFWqbVFirzqvxWi0yvI/view?usp=sharing

Subsequently, I met with two members of Hackney Council's team, including the Head gardener.

We have been given the go ahead to build a perch for the aviary and I would like to involve you, the people who care, in the perch building project.

Enthusiasts welcome and if there is a carpenter or experienced wood worker amongst you, please get involved.

There has also been some recent further investment in plants for the aviary and foraged branch perches and I believe that without the pressure from this community, these improvements wouldn't have happened. So a big thank you again for your support.  The birds are already in a better place! 🦜😊🙏🏼
