HELLO EVERYONE! 

This message is a bit long, so please bear with me. But it is so so so important!

Tonight, Monday the 18th of March, is a Surprise City Council meeting. On the agenda is item # FS23-0552, which is a request to rezone a parcel of land located on the NE corner of 163rd Ave & Jomax Rd. Most of the neighbors surrounding the location are rural residential properties, some even in unincorporated Maricopa County. 

On this item, FS23-0552, is a developer attempting to put COMMERCIAL PROPERTY (during the P&Z Commission meeting the attorney described an Aldi grocery store or similar type strip mall / shopping center) AND 475 APARTMENT UNITS.

Surprise's Planning & Zoning Commission recommended the denial of this request, but it is still ultimately up to the City Council to vote on this and decide TONIGHT!

Please show up and speak up against this request if you can. We need to keep the pressure on the city to stop all of this nonsensical development. If you'd like to speak up, you can submit a request to publicly comment HERE. The agenda and meeting details can be found on SurpriseAZ.gov, HERE.
