MTA News: LIRR Announces Schedule Changes Effective Tuesday, Sept. 3

Thank you to the MTA and LIRR - especially Robert Free (new LIRR President), Nick Fasano (Assistant Director), and Hector Garcia (Chief of Staff) for all of the dialogue and creativity.  

And a huge thank you to our elected officials - specifically Assemblymember Charles Lavine and his team, and Glen Cove City Councilwoman Danielle Fugazy Scagliola who have spent so much time and effort on this important issue.  

The change.org group, elected officials, and LIRR continue to have a good dialogue about our branch and welcome continued feedback from riders on how we can keep improving our line. We are hoping to make future progress on the evening commutes.
