Hello!
Our greatest thanks for your signatures, comments and support!
Updates: A Podcast! QPRA Meeting, Meeting Ruby Campbell, Council Meeting (coming Dec 2), Trending!??, and Gratitude!
-Today (Nov 24/24) we are meeting with Council Member Ruby Campbell to chat about how we can make a change at the intersection together and get to know her - we’ve been delighted by how responsive she has been.
-Later today we will connect at the Armoury for the Queen’s Park Residence Association Meeting (https://qpranw.ca at 2pm to connect with and hear from the Mayor.
-Important! 1) We plan to present at city council - we will be asking for Council to direct the city to assess the complexity of the school zone and safe walk intersection, propose solutions for maximum safety for our young pedestrians and drivers (while considering the impact of the surrounding areas), and finally efficiently implement those recommendations. 2) ***We hope you might join us in person or, on Zoom for that meeting on December 2, 2024 at 6pm. I know many of you will be busy getting your littles supper and putting them to bed, so Zoom will be a great choice if you are multitasking and can’t organize childcare. But your presence on Zoom will be incredibly important. You don’t need to interact. You just need to log on and join. You can also bring your children to the meeting :). I’ll try to bring some colouring books along. 3)If you want to send a 30 second video to us to share there, this would be wonderful and HELPFUL!

AND our petition is actually TRENDING on the Record! All because of you!
Lastly, for today, Tony (another concerned parent who has been working hard behind the scenes on this important issue) and I were invited to make a podcast episode on the topic - you can have a listen below -Here is the link:

We are grateful to the council members so far who are interested in our perspective and those who want to discuss and help us amplify our voices - they are taking the time to show care - Paul, Tasha, Daniel, Ruby!
And most of all: Thank YOU!
