A huge thank you to everyone who has signed the petition and shown your support.
We have a few local families that are working hard lobbying the State MP's in the area (Matt Cross - Member for Davidson and Michael Regan - Member for Wakehurst) - but we still need more voices and more support.
Given that this stretch of road lie between both electorates - we need both members to address the issue and not point the finger at the other.
Northern Beaches Council have provided the following response: "However, please note, as Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is the governing authority on pedestrian footbridges, regulatory speed limits, signalised intersection operations and the approval and implementation of RTA pedestrian fences (dividing barrier for footpaths along main roads), Council does not have the jurisdiction to accede to your request."
