Hello. I am a former user on this app and I have had many negative experiences that have deeply affected my mental health. I have been called derogatory names and have also had sexual predators threaten that they would assault me even if it was covered as a joke. Hinge does not have good moderation because it is mainly ran by AI and this is a petition to make dating apps a safer place and for them to have background checks on users. They also need to have a phone number and a better team of people who would not only be responsive but also be clear about what their terms and conditions are. Most apps will ban someone even if they defend themselves in an argument where they do not violate their rules. It is infuriating with how unfair these apps treat people. 

These corporations do not care about what could really happen to you and these platforms are not about connections but more of how many likes and swipes you can get in a day it is superficial and not authentic.

This petition is a call to action to bring this to their attention and to also be aware of how some users may deceive others as well. This is incredibly dangerous and I do need your support. Please spread the word.
