Prolonged failure of streetlights on the Fountain Road to DP Farms Road stretch.

This has made the area dangerous at night, especially near Forest County Society.

Resulting in a surge in road accidents, crimes like chain snatching, and serious safety concerns.

🗣️ Residents' Concerns:

Gati Shinde: Roads are poorly maintained; complete darkness has made travel hazardous.

Ashok Kulkarni: Difficult terrain (slopes/dividers) and lack of lighting causing frequent accidents. Senior citizens especially affected.

🔎 Safety Risks:

Area is used by professionals, children, and seniors.

Absence of light + potholes = increased risk of falls, collisions, and crimes.

Becoming a hotspot for criminal activity after dark.

🏛️ PMC's Response:

Residents formally complained to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

PMC Ward Officer Sanjay Pol assured action:

> “We will inspect and resolve the issue at the earliest.”
