Sul sul and hey! Thank you to everyone who’s signed this petition so far! We’re officially less than 80 signatures away from reaching our 2,500 signatures mark! ���

After we reach 2,500+ signatures, I’ll be drafting an email to send to EA/The Sims team with a handful of other Black Simmers. I’ll also be sharing this email with you all this upcoming Monday, October 31st. It’s only fair that I continue to be fully transparent with our demands and keep you all updated every step of this journey. 

We’ve been dealing with a lot of backlash from non-Black simmers and are still being ignored by EA/The Sims, but we won’t be giving up. Our voices matter and we’ll use every avenue possible to amplify our voices, especially within the gaming community. We appreciate every single person who’s joined us in our fight for equity and appropriate representation within the Sims 4. WHEN we get a response from The Sims team (speaking it into existence), it’ll be because of a community effort. We’ll always get further together than alone. 

Thank you again for all your support and kind words. I know that this petition will continue to grow and change the Black Simmer community for the better. Thank you for believing in our mission and for putting your signatures and money where your heart is. Nothing goes unnoticed and we’ll be sure to celebrate together as friends when our demands are met in the end.
