Today is Easter Monday. Also some sad news that Pope Francis had died. He has left a legacy of kindness. He has been more progressive than his predecessors. Frances has been supportive of gay Catholics and said the big bang and evolution isn't of contradiction of creation. The big bang doesn't prove a divine power doesn't exist but requires it. I am not Catholic, as I identify more as agnostic, but the Pope is still a big figure in the world as around half of all Christians are Catholic and the Pope is the leader of the entire branch. The Pope is also the leader of the smallest country (the Vatican). The Pope is technically an absolute monarch and the only absolute monarch in the world today. The Pope may need to be elected through the Cardinals but after that, he has all the power in the Vatican. He gets to pick Cardinals and serves until resignation or death (Benedict XVI was the first to resign in over 600 years so death seems the more likely option for the end of papacy). I figured to update as we now have 5 signatures. We gained a signature but then we lost it. I figured not to include other petitions this time out of respect for morning and it would be better when more signatures are gained
