Dear Friend,
On Tuesday we launched our Vote Palestine 2024 campaign for the General Election. It includes six questions for all Parliamentary candidates, as a set of concrete actions to commit to if elected. Will you email these questions to the prospective candidates in your constituency? 

This General Election has been called at a moment when Palestinians are confronting the darkest moment in their struggle for liberation. The current genocide in the Gaza Strip is built on the foundations of decades of violations of Palestinian rights by Israel in which successive British governments have been complicit.

We must ensure that candidates know that Palestine is a core electoral issue for constituents across Britain, and that their responses to our questions will help to inform voters when they decide how to vote. As well as emailing candidates, please watch and share this video on our election demands:

 Alongside supporting an immediate ceasefire, an arms embargo, and the restoration of funding to UNRWA, we are asking an incoming parliament and government to commit to a ban on trade with illegal Israeli settlements, support the work of the international courts to hold Israel to account for violations of international law, and to protect our right to advocate for Palestinian rights through protest, boycotts, and divestment.  

We will publish candidates’ answers in full on our website so that voters can make an informed choice on 4 July.
