Capilano corporate thuggery.
CapilanoHoney may have delivered the lowest blow in Sydney Supreme Court history yesterday. Capilano commenced strategic contempt proceedings only minutes before the court in a underhanded attempt to keep the litigation in Sydney.
Capilano served the notice of motion via email. The judge was noticeably disappointed at the timing of the motion and granted me until Wednesday evening to write submissions in relation to what Australians will see as the misuse of court process.
Verbally Capilano’s SC Sandy Dawson announced to judge the words I commonly use in posts “Honey Laundering “ breached previous court orders. The judge queried whether the term honey laundering was in breach of previous orders and asked why Capilano have waited 9 months to announce contempt proceedings .
I explained to the court honey laundering refers to Capilano Ltd importing and blending Chinese honey with Australian honey and selling it domestically and overseas.
Australian’s are disgusted at corporate bullies and it will be hard for them ever to forgive CapilanoHoney after this low blow.
