Last week one of our pupils where involved in an accident en route to school. These very roads we are petitioning for change. 

Over the last 6 months there have been multiple 'near misses' with pupils and pedestrians. 

Cars have been clipped and damaged and of course last week one of our own pupils was knocked down. Thankfully they have made a full physical recovery however, who knows what long term effect this could have mentally. 

The speed of traffic on the road, overtaking buses while at the bus stop or overtaking the islands on the wrong side of the road is going to kill someone. The road rage and abuse from drivers is disgusting. 

There have been many accidents on this stretch of road and also unfortunately fatalities over the years. How many more families have to go through this heartache before something is done. 

Something HAS to change. Please share this far and wide, to your family and friends - we need your support. 

Glasgow City Council are not listening and we need to get their attention BEFORE there are more accidents or fatalities. 

Our pupils and children have raised their own fears over the road safety. Our New School Crossing Patroller has also raised concerns on how horrific the road is and has been faced with drivers not respecting her whilst she Patrols her crossing to get pedestrians to safety. 

Please please on behalf of our school, pupils, staff and Children help us get as many signatures as possible to enable us to be seen and be heard by the authorities who have the power to change this and help keep our community safe.
