Since I spoke to the police I have notice highway patrol have been out on 2 occasions parked near  fenham fish bar and morrisons  watching traffic   yet vehicles are still going through red lights I was almost hit again whilst crossing as a lorry  chose to slow down but continue to go through lights as I was crossing  this is not great  at all times especially as most incidents appear to happen between the times people would be on school runs
