POV sirens flying down our highways again:
saying a prayer for who ever it is and rushing to 360 to locate your family and friends. Calling and texting to make sure it's not you who gets the news that one of your family or friends are in a fatal accident today. Then after you've done that, let's go to word of mouth to see what information you can find out...
If your not from here, I pray you never have to know this daily feeling!
I know some don't care for it, but the LCSO presence has been increased and I am thankful for that!
I live on 42 and it is not out of the ordinary to hear sirens on their way to accidents several times a day! I'm happy to say that since we as a COMMUNITY have been speaking out, the sirens have decreased! People are slowing down abs being more cautious while driving!
WE AS COMMUNITY ARE ALREADY MAKING A DIFFERENCE! I'm sorry it took this long, so many lives lost over the years!
We have almost 1000 signatures! We can't get distracted now. We have to keep it going!
Thank you to everyone who has been and continues to push for safer roadways. The online petition is below, but there is a paper one circulating at local stores as well. Please take a moment to sign one. We need to increase the signatures to bring to the appropriate officials to let them know we are the majority, we are concerned, and we want change!
Please, let's also not forget to show the deputies who are responding respect and kindness, even if we are the ones getting stopped!
