Implement Regional Locks for CoD Multiplayer Servers to Combat Cheating

Проблема

I play on EU servers in Call of Duty (CoD) and have noticed a large rise in cheating—an issue that not only affects my gaming experience but also the game's global community. On these servers, it feels like there's a cheater in every other match. But it’s not just any cheaters—I’ve found that roughly 90% of them originate from Asia, particularly China. This is not a statement grounded in prejudice or bias, merely an observation backed by my personal experiences and the testimonies of several other players. With this in mind, I propose that game developers of CoD take action against this kind of cheating by implementing regional server locks.

Are all cheaters in CoD from China? No. However, based on my encounters and knowledge, when there's a cheater in the match, the likelihood of them being from another region, specifically Asia, is significantly higher. Remember, this is not a sentiment fueled by hate or generalization; it's born out of wanting fairness and true competition in the game we all love. While energy could be spent on intricate and complex Anti-Cheat programs, a straightforward solution can be found in enforcing regional server locks, thereby limiting the impact of poor sportsmanship from any one region en masse.

Blocking Chinese players from accessing EU servers isn’t about racism or exclusion—it's about maintaining the integrity of our matches. Let's stand together as an international gaming community to promote fair play and a positive gaming environment for all. Push the developers of CoD to implement regional server locks. It won’t completely stop cheating, but it will be a solid start in eliminating a large pool of offenders, improving the gaming experience on CoD servers all around the world.
