Met with local TD Stephen Stokes last month to talk about advocating for the roll out of Oral Immunotherapy Services for allergies in Ireland. Thanks for taking the time to meet and support the campaign.

The campaign is gaining traction now and I am forming a parent committee with other parents - this week me and another parent of children with allergies met with Jonathan Hourihane, Professor of Paediatrics and Child Health in Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Children’s Health Ireland to find out more about OIT and what’s required from a clinical perspective for a public roll-out of OIT. His primary area of clinical and research interest is in paediatric food allergy and anaphylaxis. He is a global opinion leader in paediatric food allergy and is Ireland’s most cited Paediatrician, with over 250 peer-reviewed publications.

Please Keep sharing - it matters more than you know - we will get this over the line, we as parents / guardians are key in this and have to push and put pressure on the government.
