The City Council has acknowledged the International Mother Language Day in its last council meeting on February 25. We thank the city mayor and councillors for recognizing this day. Now, this petition requests the city to allot a place for erecting a monument, honouring the martyrs of language movement, where people would congregate to celebrate their mother tongue.
