Wow guys.. a Big THANKYOU! 

Almost 30,000 supporters at the time of writing. that's in just a few days.. It's so heart-warming to know that other people feel as strongly as I do.. Maybe we can actually get something done soon before TEMU and co totally undermine UK retail businesses. 

The more I investigate this the more I discover. The UK is been well and truly shafted.

Today I read in The Times an article exposing wide spread VAT fraud amongst TEMU traders enabling them to even avoid paying UK VAT lowering prices even more! 

The Sunday Times found that some “local” sellers on Temu misused UK businesses’ VAT numbers to avoid tax, including a funeral director and a roofer. Chinese sellers on Temu pay 20% VAT, but UK-registered ones bear the tax burden. By hiding their details, these sellers likely evade VAT entirely.

Someone commented that toys can be bought without a CE mark, meaning even basic standards are not being met in the huge pressure to reduce prices.
