While the school has engaged in dialogue, it became increasingly apparent that this will be a long and challenging fight. The tones and attitudes showcased today were not conducive to a collaborative approach. 

 The lack of accountability for the incident and the inaccuracies in some of the claims made during the meeting only strengthen the resolve behind this petition. It’s clear that there is much more work to be done, both in holding the school accountable for its actions and in advocating for a system that genuinely puts the safety of children first.

This is not just about one incident—it’s about ensuring the safety and dignity of all students within this school community. We will continue to fight for what’s right and will not back down.
