I am honestly speechless. When I started this petition just a couple days ago I had no idea it would grow this fast. Every single one of you who signed, shared, and supported this means the world to me.
And the momentum doesn't stop there. Today I had a 20 minute phone call with Laguna Niguel City Councilmember Gennawey, who is now personally reaching out to Assemblywoman Laurie Davies's chief of staff on behalf of this campaign. A sitting city councilmember is going to bat for us. That is huge.
This is no longer just a petition. This is a real movement with real political traction and it is only getting started.
But we need to keep pushing. 100 is amazing. 500 is a statement. 1000 is undeniable.
