To everyone who cares about limitless possibilities of human life, this is an appeal. This is more than a request, it's deeply personal. I yearn for a little baby boy, an experience that many people in our world cherish. Sadly, some of us are confronted with biological restrictions that prevent us from achieving this dream. However, what if science could help us surpass these challenges?

In 2001 Dr. José Cibelli was involved in the project that aimed to clone human embryos. His team succeeded in cloning human cells, which was a critical moment in the cloning debate. Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer demonstrated that somatic cells (adult cells) could be reprogrammed to create embryos, which could then be used for generating human embryonic stem cells for potential medical therapies.

My plea is to establish a universal system for safe human cloning. Human cloning, despite its current moral and ethical debates, could be an answer to many biological limitations, including reproduction. 
Allowing safe and regulated human cloning could not only fulfill wishes like mine,​ but could also provide solutions for infertility, genetic diseases, and organ transplant shortages. Let us not discard this technology out of fear, but embrace and regulate it to safeguard human rights. We seek your support in urging the medical research community and the governing bodies to initiate a comprehensive dialogue around the implementation of a safe and controlled human cloning system.
