My little petition that I had hoped would get about 100 signatures and raise awareness at my alma mater has blossomed into a national awareness campaign to end hate speech. For reference, my graduating high school class was about 215 students, so this petition has more signatures than there were students at the school when I attended. I'm not sure how long I will keep the petition going, so please continue to share it and show support for ending hate speech. There have been several new news stories about the issue of hate speech, free speech, and Mrs Jannuzzi. Many people have weighed in on both sides of the issue. I'd like to remind everyone to not be hateful towards Mrs Jannuzzi, but instead focus on having a positive message. Some of the comments I've seen have been deplorable, especially by people on the other side of the argument.
