If people are druggies and cannot properly care for and love their kids or get sober/clean for them they are by law required to relinquish their parental rights and grant custody of children to other family members that can properly care for them and nurture them or give them up for adoption. and if they don't they should get a fine and then the child or children are taken away from them and parents or parent are jailed for life. AJ was a 5 year old little boy whose life was tragically full of years of abuse physically maybe verbal too but who knows? He was born to a drug addicted "mother" (and I use that term loosely) and supposedly the "father" was a lawyer but got disbarred and fell into drugs too. They both caused this poor child Andrew "AJ" Freund pain for years. They LIED and said he was MISSING but they instead in fact had beaten him, made him stand in a cold shower and ultimately sadly he died. DCFS was involved with this child since his birth they knew the problems going on in that house but yet some judge returned this poor child to drug addicted abusive parents when his grandmother wanted custody!!! This poor sweet innocent boy was born with opiates in his system he sadly never stood a chance please let's change things for future kids let's save future kids!!! Furthermore the judge who returned poor AJ to those deadbeat "parents" should be disbarred before his term is up. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH STOP FAILING KIDS!!! Do It For Andrew "AJ" Freund and HONOR Him!!! I'm asking you Illinois make a law called AJ's Law to prevent future tragedies.
