Lake Forest Train Derailment

Our worst fears are happening! Today, early in the morning a freight train derailed in Lake Forest at Deerpath Road, right along side Rt 41. Imagine if this was worse and rail cars wound up on the highway and struck vehicles! This is one of the main reasons why we are against further rail expansion through our neighborhoods and the creation of the holding track. Please share this post and write your representatives to reinforce our desire to have this project denied Federal funding!
