Dear supporters, 

Thank you once again for your support and assistance. We are very grateful for your contributions to the campaign. We are still working hard in convincing the relevant parties to consider the scale of this development. Up till now there are still no indication that the scale of the building will be reduced despite negotiations between the relevant bodies. 

January has seen a series of landslides all around Fraser's Hill and the roads from Kuala Kubu Baru and Raub to the hill. The condition of the soil is a major concern. Persatuan Alam dan Warisan Bukit Fraser has conducted a survey and has marked traces of landslides and soil erosions just on the hill itself that require attention and further maintenance. There are 120 spots on the hill alone that require attention to avoid further erosions and we hope the relevant authorities will see to them and that the Majlis Daerah Raub will consider this incident before making the final decision on the 15 storey development.

At the end of the day, the entire condition of the hill should be considered in deciding on the development. Heavy vehicles and machineries including cranes need to make their way up the hill even before the building can be built. Can Fraser's Hill roads and soil condition withstand the impact of such a development?
