Update on the situation led us to believe that the Maybank Lodge and Jelai Resort are under the same construction. Only last week we surveyed the half destructed Maybank Lodge thinking that it could be a bad restoration project, meaning half of the heritage building will be saved, but we are now to believe that it will be completely demolished. 

We now require the attention of Jabatan Warisan Negara too.  We cannot allow further destruction to Fraser's Hill heritage buildings. The same developer has bought over another heritage building - Mallaig bungalow. Once the location of a popular Malaysian film Kolej 56.
